THE GALLERY

Two generations, one eye.

Since 1968, Rodrigo Rivero Lake — antique dealer, historian, researcher and writer — has devoted his life to the study and preservation of fine art and historical objects.

Today he leads the gallery alongside his son, Rodrigo Rivero Lake Jr. — gallerist, historian and curator — who carries this legacy into a new generation, joining a lifetime of connoisseurship with fresh scholarship and a global outlook.

Galería Rodrigo Rivero Lake is guided by rigorous research, responsible sourcing and close attention to each object’s provenance and historical significance. We approach every work with respect for the culture that created it, the history it embodies and the country whose heritage it represents — with knowledge, transparency and the highest ethical standards.

Through expertise and discernment, we connect exceptional works with collectors and institutions who value their preservation for generations to come.

“Collecting carries a responsibility that extends beyond ownership.”
